Commercial Pricing

Why Is Commercial Pricing Different?

Imagine you’re Joe Blow selling your car and pay for someone to take pictures of your Camry to put on Craigslist.  That’s one use.  Sell the car and the pictures are now worthless.  Similar to photos of a home for sale.

Now…imagine you’re Toyota who is going to use those images to sell a million cars for the next year.  Or you’re a builder who’s going to use those images to showcase your work for years.  See the difference?  Also, different types of photos, different type of lighting, different editing.

Commercial work is billed by the hour and includes a maximum number of images per hour.  Contact me for pricing.

Air B&B / VRBO Rate

For a vacation rentals I charge $50 per photo, minimum of 10 photos. All photos will be sent to you as drafts with watermarks and you get to pick which ones you want. These will include wide full-room shots as well as details of amenities. After you pick and pay you will be provided two different sizes without watermarks.

Unlicensed Use Fee

This is also called theft. If you use my images without my permission, I will charge you — at minimum — $150 per image.  I will inform your broker, NAR, MLS, my copyright attorney, and whatever service you use to display the images. I take this very seriously and am sick of it.

If I turn it over to Pixsy I think they start at $400 per image. They find a lot for me already. They rock.

I’m putting this here because some lawyer says I can’t charge that much because it’s not on my website. So I guess you can steal a car because it’s not noted on the car that you can’t steal it?

In short: If you didn’t take the photo or pay the person taking the photo, you can’t use it. Don’t.
